This audio web conference will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM CST (11:00 AM New York and 8:00 AM San Francisco). The presentation will list the various sections that are part of the appropriate policy and procedures, which are to be in place to allow this to happen, show the paper input formats, and explain how images should be imported while preserving the data integrity. The applicable IHE profiles (PDI, IRC/IRWF) to increase your chance to media exchange interoperability, and preserve the original data from the image header as read from a CD/DVD, are explained.
The objective of this seminar is to allow attendees to develop a policy for importing documents and images from media such as CD's into a PACS system while preserving the data integrity of their system.
