The theme is How to avoid common mistakes when implementing a PACS system in addition to Getting ready for HIPAA security. It includes a presentation of two seasoned PACS administrators who implemented a PACS system. In addition, there is a discussion of common vulnerabilities of the PACS system with respect to security, and corresponding recommendation, based on a recent survey of hospitals by the UNT.
