5.3 How to Use Storage SCP Service

1. Switch to Storage SCP mode by either clicking on the STORAGE SCP button in the Mode window on the main window or by selecting Storage SCP from the Modes menu

2. Click on CONFIGURE NODES button or select Nodes from the Configure menu to bring up the Storage SCP Node Details dialog box.

3. In the Storage SCP Node Details dialog box, enter the Application Entity Title, the port number in which the system should listen for receiving the images, the transfer syntax with which to write the received images, the maximum PDU Size to be used to negotiate with the incoming association requests and the folder name where the received images will be stored.

4. Click on the Transfer Syntax tab to go to the Transfer Syntax page and select the types of transfer syntaxes that will be supported by the Storage SCP service.

5. Click on the Image Types tab to go to the Image Types page and select the types of images that will be supported by the Storage SCP service.

6. Click on the START button to start the Storage SCP service.

7. If the Storage SCP service is running, it can be stopped at any time by clicking on the STOP button.

8. When the Storage SCP service is running, any changed configuration setting will take effect only after the service has been restarted.

9. Interpret the displayed information.
