4.2 Configuration

There are three configurations in the application. The configuration details will take effect only after the Storage SCP service is restarted. Likewise for Storage SCU and Echo SCU services, the settings will take effect only when the next send is made.

4.2.1   The General Configuration

The required general configuration entries are the log file name, the number of days entries should be kept in the log, the startup mode, and the Calling AE Title. These parameters can be set using the General Configuration dialog box, which can be displayed by selecting General from the Configuration menu.

Calling AE Title

The calling Application Entity Title

Startup Mode

The mode in which the application will start. The default parameter is NOMODE, which means no mode will have prominence and a mode must be selected to perform an operation.

Log File Name

The name of the log file in which the application will store log information. The full path of the filename should be entered.

Number of Days in Log

The total number of days the log information should be maintained in the log file after which it will be automatically cleared.
